AudioQuest Rocket 88 Full-Range speaker cable is the flagship model of the company’s versatile Rocket Series. Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ Conductors
Solid conductors prevent electrical strand-to-strand interaction, a major source of distortion. The smooth surface of AudioQuest’s conductor metals nearly eliminates harshness and greatly increases clarity compared to lesser materials.
Double Star-Quad Geometry
The relationship between conductors defines a cable’s most basic electrical values (capacitance and inductance). AudioQuest’s Double Star-Quad geometry is vastly superior to conductors run in parallel as well as to the more common twisted pairs, resulting in less distortion.
Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation System
This cable’s negative conductors are covered with partially conductive Carbon-Loaded Polyethylene, which prevents radio-frequency noise being fed back into the amplifier. The reduction in external interference results in clearer sound and greater dimensionality.
Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation
Most common insulation materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and then released as distortion. With its high air content and benign distortion profile, AudioQuest’s Foamed-Polyethylene causes much less of the out-of-focus effect common to other materials.
