What is sous vide?
Sous vide (pronounced sue-veed) is a cooking technique that utilizes highly precise temperature control in a circulating bath of water to deliver consistent, edge-to-edge perfect results, with virtually no risk of overcooking your food.
3 steps to the perfect meal
1. Attach your precision cooker to a pot of water and set the time and temperature 2. Put your food in a sealable bag and place it in the water bath when it has reached the desired temperature 3. Finish by searing, grilling, or broiling as desired.
Precision temperature control
The difference between a rare and medium-rare steak is just 3°F (or 1.7°C) – leaving almost no margin for error. Our obsession with precision drove us to design sous vide cookers that will always keep your food within 0.2°F (or 0.1°C) of your target temp.
